Peak Performance Lab enables athletes to dramatically improve their performance and compete and train at their peak. We do this using the latest Biofeedback (BFB) methodology and proprietary instruments to measure and analyze breathing chemistry and the dynamics needed for top respiratory fitness. There is a major focus on CO² regulation, which though usually neglected, is scientifically proven to play a major role in optimum breathing under stress. We then help athletes discover and gain awareness into optimal breathing, heart rate variability, and the synergy between the two.

Analysis of Respiratory Fitness and Heart Variability
Using our cutting-edge CapnoTrainer, we gather data on the three most critical components of respiratory fitness, comparing them side by side in real time.
These three critical components of respiratory fitness are:
- Exhaled carbon dioxide at the end of the breath (ECO²)
- Breath rate per minute (BPM)
- Heart rate variability (HRV)
Using these data, we measure changes in athletes’ heart rate, cardiac frequencies known as heart waves (HW). These heart waves dictate the states that can make – or break – athletic performance. These states include fight or flight, freeze and calm, and coherence/engagement, and more.
Through our respiratory training, we enable athletes to become aware of and master the benefits of Heart Rate Flexibility® (HRF). HRF training enables athletes to more easily detect stress triggers, reduce them, and achieve peak performance.
Proprietary Training and Cognitive Learning
To get the most accurate data and provide the most effective training, our program usually involves multiple sessions in a variety of settings. These typically consist of eight one-on-one sessions lasting one hour. To best meet your needs, we utilize a variety of settings and in situations ranging from our lab to simulated performance conditions. Staff also consult with the client between sessions.
Then through breathing training, applied learning, guided exercises, and games, athletes learn how to better self-regulate breathing and heart rate, raise energy or relax, and more. We help you gain the awareness necessary to optimize respiratory fitness and increase heart rate variability for peak performance during training and competition.
